the new album is coming along. drums recorded for many of the songs and laying down vocals/acoustic guitars over the next week or so.
nothin but protools, an mbox, a tape machine, and a coupla mics so far

i played a show at postcrypt last night. i could go on forever about this place.
its on campus at columbia university on broadway, in the chapel of st. paul’s.
i would play at this place all the time if i could. hands down my favorite venue to play in the city. basically its a dimly lit basement of a chapel with a max. occupancy of like, 35 people (they usually squeeze more in anyway if...
starting over
started this blog with some apprehension, not knowing how much to share or how much to keep to myself
started it, wrote some stuff, deleted some stuff, kinda forgot about it for a little while…
but im back and im gonna use this thing to reflect and share new songs and whatever else is going on in my head that feels worth posting

no gee-tar.
went to the store, played a bunch of shit, a few real cool ones, but mostly there to mess around…even tried scratching in the DJ/turntable room.
kirkman was there too and was all pumped to play yamahas that sound nowhere near as good as geronimo (the guitar his daddy found at a pawn shop down in north carolina that is now mine). and also to check out the new Boss G-10, which is all fancy...

going to the guitar center in larchmont today to see if i can go sell some shit that i dont play anymore.
then maybe ill buy the gee-tar of my dreams.
also jamming with the buddies tomorrow, the guys i played in a band with in middle school, who i havent jammed with together in a long long long time. im looking to do more plugged in stuff and working with a band, so bass n drums is a great...
